I'm so sorry that I've vanished off the face of the earth! I know I've neglected my poor blog so badly, I've barely even kept any of you updated on the Facebook page, but rest assured that my fingers have not been idle!

UNSOLVED: JonBenet Ramsey

The Case:

It was the day after Christmas in 1996. The town of Boulder, Colorado was quiet, people were in their homes with family and friends, enjoying their Christmas breaks.

One family, the Ramseys, were about to have their lives changed forever.

On the morning of December 26th, Patsy Ramsey finds a two and a half page ransom note on her staircase, alerting her to the fact that her six year old daughter, JonBenet, was missing. Her subsequent call to police would rock her life and draw the eyes of the nation for years to come.

How to be a perfect parent

Raising well-adjusted and emotionally stable children has never been more important than in these dark times. Our world is going to hell in a hand basket, thanks to the emotionally stunted adults who rule the world now. And the reason behind that is simple: none of us were raised properly.

Now, I know what you're thinking; "Of course I was raised wrong! My parents didn't have any way to find out what the pop-psychologists were saying! Buzzfeed Parenting wasn't created yet!"

I know, it wasn't their faults that they were under-qualified for parenting! They were just born too early for the ever helpful internet!

But lucky for you, there's still time for your children! Below, I have written a basic list of the most important things to remember when attempting to raise the perfect, well-adjusted, and emotionally stable children that will one day run the world.

This one is for the Guys

All right, let's be honest here: it's a man's world.

Not only do men get taken more seriously, they run things 95% of the time. They tend to look down on the opinions of us women (aka their genius counterparts), and never like to listen to our expert advice. Woman are used and abused by the powers that be, which are usually men.

But what bothers me the most is one simple thing that us women have to deal with that men don't take seriously:

Periods. 

The American Justice System

Today, while browsing Twitter, I saw the hashtag #freekesha was trending again. I looked, and to my utter dismay, the American Justice System has failed once again.

Kesha has been embroiled in a lengthy legal battle for 2 years now, fighting for her freedom. She has accused her producer, Doctor Luke, of emotional abuse and rape. In fact, it was because of his emotional abuse that Kesha was forced to check into a mental health facility a few years back, as she struggled daily with eating disorders. 

The War on Formula

"Breast is best!"

"You want the best for your baby, don't you?"

"They need breastmilk, it makes them healthy!"

If you're a mom or a mom-to-be, or really just a woman in general, you've no doubt heard those words before. 

Boobs vs The World

I like to flash my boobs at people.

Oh wait, no, I actually just like to feed my kid. 

So today I was reading some comments on YouTube below a video about breastfeeding. If you've been on any mommy site (or the Internet in general) this year, then I'm sure you've seen at least one person put down and someone else defend breastfeeding.
