Not Sherlock's Blogger

So, this is usually when I stop writing on my blog. Mostly because I can't think of anything interesting to write. But then I realized something: I'm not Sherlock's blogger. So my posts don't have to be about some crazy thing that happened. I can just write what my life is like. And that's not what John Watson's life is like.

SO, this is a plain ordinary blog post about an ordinary human life (I had to say human just in case I was mistaken for an alien. That could be bad).

S, I've decided to join our homeschool group's yearbook staff. I tried it out last year, but the yearbook never really went anywhere. I hope things will be different this year.

My sister also joined the yearbook staff, but she only wants to be a photographer. She's actually pretty good (especially since she has a little Walmart camera that eats batteries). I'll post a link to her blog that she hardly ever writes on later.

For the last two-ish years, I've been playing in the homeschool band. This is my first year since starting that I haven't gone back at the start of the school year. Of course, when I decided to sell my clarinet this past summer, I pretty much knew then that I wasn't going back.

When I was younger, I played piano. I still play sometimes, but not often. Every now and again I also pick up my guitar, but even that has gotten away from me. I've gotten busy (if playing World of Warcraft can count towards busy lol).

When I first picked up guitar, I only wanted to play my Dad's old electric guitar so I could play the Skillet song, Hero. My Mom decided to get me classical guitar lessons first, so I ended up playing classical and they bought me my own guitar.

A classical guitar differs from an acoustic guitar because the neck is shorter on a classical. Not that it matters that much if you aren't planning on becoming a pro or something like that.

I think this school year will be different from the last few. For one, as I've already said, I'm not going back to band. Or any of my art classes. Or P.E. I'm attempting to graduate next year, so I though it would be best if I could focus on other things, such as math, which is NOT my best subject.

I also wanted to learn more about WW2. There is soooo much information about that time that I could probably learn about it for the next few years and still not know all that I want to.

The best historian (or rather, the one that I like the most right now) is Winston Churchill. Especially on the subject of WW2. He was Britain's Prime Minister at the time after all.

It's kind of funny, but I think I know more British history than I do American, but that what happens when you watch Doctor Who I guess. :)

Anyway, that was my blog post for the day. Even though it was more of me just rambling on about random subjects...but like I said, I'm not Sherlock's blogger.

Cheers!!
