Hey guys!
It feels like so very long since I wrote on this blog! The short Sabbatical for the holidays was a much needed break, and it's time to start the New Year off with a bang!
Obviously, today's post is going to be short and sweet, not a historical study. I just wanted to wish you all the best for 2017 and let you know a few of the things to look forward to this year!
If you didn't already know, 2016 was the year I released my first book! It's available for sale on Amazon.com in both paperback, and on Kindle! If you wanna check it out here's a link! Also, if the price on Amazon is a little too rich for your blood (I totally get that, I've tried dropping the price, but Amazon is determined to get their money's worth,) you can message me and I'll get you a copy for much cheaper. You can follow the link to the Facebook page, or shoot me an email and I'll work with you on a price!
The first book is only a prelude of what's to come. This year I'll be releasing the second book! So if you don't already follow my blog, make sure to follow so you can get updates and sneak peaks as that comes closer! (You can also follow me on Facebook and Twitter for updates).
Also, towards the end of 2016, I took a step towards making this blog's content more accessible and easier to hear by starting a podcast! So far, I've been going through and re-reading some of the old History Tuesday posts. I know I get a little Tolkien-ish sometimes (that's long-winded, for those of you who don't speak Nerd), and I know it's not always easy to find the time to sit down and read an entire post, so instead, I'm reading it for you! Now you can just download, then listen while you're driving to work, washing the dishes, laying in bed, hiking, or whatever life has you doing! It's super easy! If you want to follow the podcast, here's a link! Also, the website has an app, which makes it that much easier to listen on the go. (I use the app to listen to other podcasts, and let me tell you, it's topnotch).
I'm also planning on starting a YouTube channel this year, but that's still in the works. We are still renovating our house, I have a toddler under foot, and there's rumors of me starting to work, so we'll see how that goes! I'll be sure to let you guys know if I start to put my face into that digital world though!
All in all, it's gonna be a busy year for me, and it's all for you guys! I'm so excited to work on all these awesome new projects, and so excited to share them with you all! All this would be falling on deaf ears if ya'll weren't there to support me and follow my work. You have all been a major source of encouragement for a long time, since I first took the step into the digital world and started blogging. I feel like my readers are my family, and I can't thank you all enough.
Love you all so much! I hope you all have had a great holiday season, and that 2017 will be even better than you hoped for. Just remember, a year is only as good as you make it, so seize the day and follow your dreams this year!!
Cheers!
