1800s photo shoot

So, I hadn't done a photo shoot in quite a while.

My birthday is coming up soon, and I am having a costume party. The biggest problem with that is that I have so many costumes that I really want to use, but I clearly can't wear them all.

That was really bothering me, trying to decide which one to use, so I decided to just use them all. It will take a while to do all these photo shoots, but I am really excited.

Today I decided to go ahead and do one. It was kind of a 1800s thing.

I don't usually do a background, but I decided to use a white sheet, because my bedroom was not really good for this particular shoot.

My mom said that this one reminded her of Peter Pan.

No, I'm not wearing a bustle, although I pretended I was.

When I changed the filter to sepia, it started to look more like the Wild West...which I kind of liked.

So I started feeling like a saloon girl.

This picture reminded me so much of Kissing Kate Barlow from Holes.

I was so paranoid with this one. I am soooo paranoid about fire, so this one was kind of a big deal.

I really liked this one and thought about wearing the mask as a headband from now on.

And at the end of my photo shoots, I like to take a picture of normal me smiling.

This is the first of several shoots. This one was really fun, although it was a little painful. That dress is a little scratchy, the mask makes my face feel kind of funny, the necklace I was wearing was digging into my neck and my hair was pulling really hard, giving me a headache. BUT it was totally all worth it.

Cheers!
