I am not a famous singer. I'm not a supermodel. I have very little money, and even less time to do anything to make said money. I'm not an athlete or a superhero. But I am a huge celebrity and I have a fan that can outdo a preteen at a Justin Bieber concert.
His name is Roman Schools, and he's my son.
Let's be honest, young children are like fangirls. They obsess over one person, and one person only: Superstar Mommy.
So when celebs have to hire body doubles just so they can walk down the street in peace, I can totally relate. I just don't get to hire a body double.
So if you were ever wondering what it's like to be the most famous person in the world, have a baby.
Here are just a few of the fantastic things you can expect from your biggest fan:
1. When you walk in the room, there will be a lot of excited screaming.
2. When you walk out of the room, there will be a lot of angry and sad screaming.
3. Your fan will always want to touch you. Like, it will be their life goal just to touch your feet.
4. They scream your name at all times; when you're in the shower, when you're sleeping, when you're eating lunch, it never ends.
5. You cannot hide. They will find you.
6. They find new and amazing ways to reach you. You could be hiding on top on the Empire State Building and they will somehow scale it to reach their idol.
7. In their eyes, you can do no wrong, even when you feel like you are messing everything up.
8. They always think you are the most beautiful thing in the world, even when you think you look like a potato.
9. They will do anything you do. You like eggs? They will eat nothing but eggs.
10. They love you unconditionally. They are blinded by the stars in their eyes and all they see is their favorite person in the whole world: You.
Yep, being a huge celebrity is pretty great. I mean, sometimes I really would like to go grocery shopping in peace without my tiny fan hanging on my arm, but the total adoration makes up for that.
Luckily for my little fan though, I'm not Regina George, I see him coming and I don't (always) roll my eyes. I love that he's obsessed with me, and I'm going to cherish every moment as long as it lasts.
Cheers!
